St Philbert de Grand-Lieu is a town of 9,000 inhabitants in the southern suburbs of Nantes, in the countryside with access to the Atlantic coast within 20 minutes via motorway. Lake Grandlieu, bird sanctuary, is a few kilometers away and is reknown for its hiking trails.
